The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido is big, and no one wants to browse it dragging a suitcase. Two easy fixes: the store holds your bags itself, or you use the coin lockers at Yeouido Station, which connects underground.
Storing bags inside the store
The most convenient option is the department store's own service.
- Storage lockers — B1, B3, B4. For shopping bags and daypacks while you browse. These are widely reported as free; conditions can vary by day, so check on the floor.
- 1F Tourist Desk — suitcase drop. Better for a full travel case. Call 02-3277-0505 to confirm hours and conditions.
Lockers run during store hours, so this suits a shopping visit rather than an overnight hold.
Yeouido Station coin lockers
If you'd rather use a self-service coin locker — or need one outside store hours — Yeouido Station is right there. It links to The Hyundai Seoul underground (via the Line 9 side), and the T-Locker coin lockers sit by Line 5 Exit 6. This station doesn't have a huge bank of lockers, so on a weekend or if you need a large one, check what's open first on the Yeouido Station page — it lists free lockers by size.
Coin-locker prices are the same across Seoul: about ₩2,200 (small) to ₩4,400 (large) for four hours. Not sure a 28-inch case fits? See locker sizes and prices.
Which to use
